#What I loved and still love about Rose is that she’s an ‘underachiever’#she has no A Levels #dropped out of school #made a bad mistake with a guy and trusted him and got her heart broken #still lives with her mum #works in a department store #but she’s also so brilliant #so brave and caring and courageous and so fantastic #she doesn’t let shit stop her #she doesn’t listen to the people who tell her that she’s achieved nothing in her life #because getting great a levels and and a perfect job does not mean you’ll be happy #and that’s all especially relevant to me now #and now I’m really glad Rose taught me this when I was twelve #your academics do not measure your worth as a person
